Contents Page First Draft & Feedback
This is my first draft of my contents page. Once I had finished I then asked for feedback on my work. These are the responses. I have used feedback not only from the year 13 Media students but also from peers who are interested in this kind of music. I chose to ask them for feedback as this would be the sort of magazine that they would be interested in looking at as they are my target audience.

I also had feedback that there was not enough subheadings which made looking at the sections quite long. I agree with this feedback so I decided to add another subheading in order to break up the long column of writing.
As I had also had feedback of the contents page lacking musicality, as well as this feedback, I decided to remove one picture to replace it with one with a model who had a guitar. This shows musicality.
I have considered changing this factor of the contents page however I feel like it adds to the page design of the magazine.
I was also given feedback that it was annoying that you could not tell who the image was of straight away and that you had to look for the artist on the list of contents. I have decided to change this by adding a text box to the images and listing the name of the artists.
I have decided to keep the blue strip across the bottom as it represents the house style and allows it to remain continuous throughout the whole magazine.

Based on the feedback I recieved, I decided to add in another subheading as there was not enough. I added in the subheaading 'Albums' as this is a common subheading among music magazines. This breaks up the stories on the contents page and makes it easier to read.
I also changed the pictures so that they have the artists name on them. I have done this as it was suggested by my target audience when I was given feedback. The names of the artists on the pictures makes it easier for the reader to relate to the stories as they can quickly find the artist in the stories.
I also changed a photo to one of a model with a guitar. This is better as it shows musicality in the magazine.
