This is a list of magazine name ideas that I had originally thought of. Some of the names like Velvet and Indigo just came to mind when thinking of possible names however I found it very difficult to come up with any more. The next step was to search for Indie Rock albums and single names. Going through lists gave me an idea of the sort of vocabulary and the types of words that were commonly used. Using pre-existing band/artist, album and single names I was able to come up with other possible names such as Pastel, Truth and Focus. 

The next step was to shortlist my favourite names in order to ask peers and others which name they thought would suit an Indie Rock magazine the best. The names highlighted are the shortlisted 12. 

These were the results of the survey. The majority voted Indigo as the best name for my magazine.

My personal favourite to use as the font for my magazine title would be DK Majolica as I feel as this font gives the right vibes for the type of magazine I want. 

My least favourite designs are Gunplay and Urban Sketch as I feel they do not represent the genre of music I am presenting in my magazine.
