I have looked at numerous music magazines such as: Billboard, NME, Kerrang!, Mixmag, Rolling Stone, Q and Blender. During this research I have not found an extreme close up image on the front page or inside the magazine in either the contents or a double page spread. This may be because extreme close up shots are primarily used to focus on details on thing such as makeup. Extreme close ups would mainly be used in fashion magazines.
