Looking at these magazine front pages of females my research shows that the popular choice of shot is a close up of the females face. Some of the magazines such as Billboard, Blender and Rolling Stone have front pages with medium shots. Using this research, to make my magazine photograph reflect the research it should be a close up.
The Majority of the pictures on the front pages of magazines use close up shots, like the Rolling Stone magazine with Adele.
Some magazine front covers use medium shots, like Billboard magazine with Miley Cyrus. Rarely magazines use long shot with the whole of the models body in. The Blender issue with Katy Perry uses long shot.
